Question: What are the three things needed to be successful in business and life. Three things I would like to explain immediately. (1) I was a grade B for all my previous listings, but am now listed as a Grade C. After talking to the Prosper folks, it appears that this is because of my bankcard utilization. However, I have just mailed off the payments (in full) for all my credit cards this month so if that is really the reason my credit score dropped in the past 10 days, it should change. Why not just wait until those payments are received and my credit score goes back up to a B? - please read below for the hours I am currently putting into my business. I do not believe I can sustain this level of work and effort for another month without some help. (2) The second thing is the current delinquency on my report. It is NOT a delinquency. Two of the credit bureaus are reporting this as my debt. It is a Next Card that I NEVER owned. It is billed to someone in my name at an address I have never lived at. I have disputed this in writing and am assured that if the credit bureaus do not receive a response from Next Card within 30 days of being notified of my dispute, they will remove it from my record. (3) I have dropped the amount I am asking for based on suggestions from other members and thanks to a good friend who's now working for me part-time (10 hours a week) for just salary (no benefits), allowing me to ask for less. I once was a dismal HR credit rating. Through hard work and persistence and with the help of the folks at Prosper I turned that around and raised it to a B, which I was so very proud of. It is very stinging to have that go down in just once month due to bank card utilization, especially as I pay my cards off in full each month. I consider this a setback, but I will overcome it and I think if you look at my stats you'll see that's the only thing that has appreciably changed. So that being said, what do I want the loan for and why should you entrust your money with me? I started a second business in 2004. It is a small translation agency. I'm still designing the website, but please feel free to visit it in progress at http://www.tdftranslations.com. My small business has grown beyond belief. I cannot keep up with the demand. I need to hire employees and because of the way billing is done in the translation world (I have to pay my translators within 15-30 days of the work being done, but the clients don't pay up for some 30-60 days) I don't have a lot of available cash to pay employee benefits and salaries in advance. I currently work about 80-90 hours a week (between the full-time job and the business) and desperately need two employees to take over administrative and bookkeeping tasks (invoicing, billing, and contracts) so that I can continue to grow the business. With the help of two full-time employees I can easily double the $1200-2400 a month I'm bringing in now to $2400-4800 and maybe even get a day off once in a while! So why loan to me? Yes, I've had credit problems, but I have worked my butt off to fix them. I have made every single one of my Prosper payments (18 so far) on my first loan on time. I have the income and assets to pay back this loan. I hope you will bid on my loan and please do ask any questions you might have. Thank you, Merci, Vielen Dank, Spasibo, Zhenkuyu, Dzhakuyu....! |
