Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to finance the start up costs of a
family ran restaurant and catering business. 

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because of many reasons...    

1. For the past 8 years, I have managed a branch of a financial institution.  I make decisions on loan applications daily.  I am applying through prosper because I believe this website to have the power to fund the American dream, and for any person to be be able to take part in it.    
  
2. I have an excellent payment history, have never made a late payment and understand the details of lending from a professional standpoint.    

3. VERY IMPORTANT: My debt to income exceeds 63% on this application, because I have been married for 10 years and all of my finances (including 2 mortgages, due to the purchase of a small building in our downtown area) are joint with my husband, and using his income. This loan application is just taking into account my income, and not his, which is an additional $45,000 per year.  He is a corrections officer, and has worked in a maximum security prison for 7 years.  So dedicated to his job that he drives 80 miles each way.

4. My father has been cooking for 40 years.  It is our  family tradition.  He has managed a large restaurant chain, and currently has managed a local restaurant for the past 10 years.  He loves to cook, and he loves our community.  It gives him great pride to make food for others, and to create special recipes that people enjoy. He currently has no retirement plan, and I want to open this restaurant as a way for him to be able to fulfill his lifelong dream, and to be financially secure in the future.  He is the most deserving man that you could ever meet.

5. I have the experience in the food industry and in business to make this successful.  I have a degree in Business Management, Marketing and Customer Service, and I have worked in management for 8 years at a credit union.  I also spent years as a waitress and 5 years in a pizza parlor through high school and college.
