This will be used for a refinance of my current prosper loan #5553 which was taken out in Dec. 2006. It was for $9900 I have never missed a payment or been late. I have paid it down to $2800, way ahead of schedule. I will immediately payoff my current prosper loan with the proceeds from this loan. My DQ's are not accurate. I was told by experian that to get them removed I would need to mail them my Chapter 13 BK papers from 5 years ago, proving the DQ's were included in my BK. If I mail these papers, it will show that I had a BK. I did not want to add a BK to my report, when one is not listed. I just got tired of dealing with them. I plan no major purchases (home, car, etc) in the next few years so it's easier just to let the DQ's fall off after the 7 years (time limit for them to fall off my report) has passed. A brief explaination of my reasons for filing Ch 13 BK 5 yrs ago: It was filed due to my not having enough savings at the time. It was my fault which is why I am such a saver now. To make a long story short, I had switched jobs due my company going under new management and not paying us properly. We left with our client accounts, they sued us for breaking our contract and we won. I did not run out on my creditors by filing a Chapter 7 although I could have. Instead I filed a 13 and paid back every penny owed, through the Chapter 13 payment plan set up by the court. Now I'm in a much better situation working for a better company, with a much higher income, to prevent this from happening again. My financial situation: I have more than enough resources to repay this loan. I have about $18,000 in a Roth IRA Index fund, opened in 2003. I have $54,000 in my 401K plan. I have worked as a sales rep for my company for the past 6 yrs. I sell specialty maintenance products to busineses throughout the US and Canada. Monthly net income: $ 4200 This number is usually higher but that is a slow month. I work on commission so I gave a low number, and also this number is after the 10% I have taken out for my 401K, taxes, health insurance (120/mo), and all other deductions. Monthly expenses: $3665 Housing: $975 Insurance: $80/mo car, Car expenses: $508/mo (3 yr loan with 15 months left) Utilities: $200/mo Phone, cable, internet: $165 (cable tv/internet + cell phone only, as I don't have a land line) Food, entertainment: $300 Clothing, household expenses $100 Credit cards and other loans: $250 minimum (I pay more than the minimum however) $5K 10 yr home Equity Loan (I got when I bought my house to help avoid PMI insurance) $72/mo work premiums (business expense we have to pay) about $200/mo is tax deductible Other expenses: $400/mo misc repairs etc Current prosper loan $415/mo @29% (currently paid up until Aug 2008) Also, as stated in my previous funded listing: My ebay id is cattthy, I have 99% positive feedback. I've been a member of Creditboards under the same ID since April 2004. I have no kids (except 2 dogs), so no one I have to financially take care of except myself. Also, if I were ever in a situation where I really needed the money, I would take out my Roth IRA money to repay this loan. |
