Lab4less, run by my brother and myself (NYC and San Diego) is a medical research equipment broker and consulting firm. We buy the assets of labs that are being closed due to funding shortages (cancellation of NIH grant, for example) or changes in the direction of a particular line of research, and resell those assets to biotech startups, pharmas and universities around the world. Although we have a strong A/R (net 30), we are currently facing a large number of short term acquisition opportunities that require immediate cash. We have successfully borrowed and repaid over $250K in private loans over the past 3 years, but currently our normal investor pool have a majority of their liquid short term funds committed to other projects. Funds raised on Prosper will be utilized to acquire hard assets for resale. Inventory turns are 3-6 months on average. Please feel free to email with questions.
