Eric's Credit Community

I have been using my credit card for my grandson's medical treatment at Stanford University Childrens Hospital.  He was born with a severe birth defect and required specialized medical care all of his life.   Chase suddenly increased my interest rate from 9.9 % to 27.9% for no reason.  My credit rating is good with no missed payments.  They said  "We can do this anytime we want for no reason" .  

I am a Registered Nurse, have owned my own home for 23 years and have lived in the area for all my life.  

I?ve sent documentation to my group leader, cellardoor, and he can verify the following:

1.My 2 pension statements, showing my income.

2.My inactive nurse's id -- which he looked up on the CA gov website as well.

3.A number of documents relating to my grandson and his birth defect

Also, I wanted to state that

1.I put in post-tax income, not gross income
2.According to my group leader, even if I had put down pre-tax income, I?d still have a higher post-tax income than the average lister w/the same pre-tax income, as my pension income?s cost basis renders much of it tax-exempt.
