Purpose of loan: (explain what you will be using this loan for) The purpose of this loan is to pay off unpaid property taxes and to be able to buy a new furance for my home. I was unaware that our property taxes did not get paid. I found out in December that my husband never used last years tax refund to pay our property taxes. Words cannot describe how upset I was over this development. Also the furnance in our home is on it's last legs. The home warrenty will only pay about $1,500 on a new furance and the furnance we currently have is original to the home, so it is about 37 years old. My financial situation: (explain why you are a good candidate for paying back this loan) : I took out a loan from Prosper in June/July and have never missed a payment, nor have I ever had a late payment because funds were not in the account. The experience of having a loan with Prosper has been a great one. Payments are made automatically and it is so easy not to have to worry that this payment getting "lost in the mail". How I will use the funds: Property Taxes $6,600 Furnance $3,400 Monthly net income: $ 2,854 Monthly expenses: $ Home Insurance $28. Cell Phone $80 Car Ins. $176 Utilities $223 Prosper $562 My husband pays the mortgage of $2,600 each month. What I pay now: Expenses $507 Groceries $450 Prosper $562 Total $1,519 What I would pay with this loan: Expenses $507 Groceries $450 Loan $562 -Propser Loan Loan $372 (estimated) Total $1,891 This would be a total savings of $963 a month. I will be having this loan payment taken out automatically each month from my checking account. I believe I am a great credit risk for this loan. My other loan took care of everything I needed to pay off, and things have been going great, with the exception of finding out about the property taxes. The money that I have been saving has been used for much needed upgrades to my home. If I had known that the property taxes were not paid, I would have used my savings to start paying off the property taxes. |
