We've lowered our loan amount and raised our interest rate!!! Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate miscellaneous debts and improve our credit. My financial situation: My wife and I would very much like to enjoy the American Dream of home ownership for us and our pets, but because of our poor credit score we are not able to make our dream a reality. We both make a decent amount of money (I'm an auto mechanic and my wife is a pet groomer), but because of the spending immaturity of years past, we find ourselves in the difficult position of trying to build our credit. We have found building credit by paying off one bill at a time is a very lengthy, frustrating process.
