I am currently working as a junior investment professional at a global investment firm in New York. Given my reported income level last year (shown above), you may wonder what i am doing in prosper. here is my situation. I have a couple of big ticket expenditures coming up over the next few months - 1) enrolling in part-time business classes and 2) buying an engagement ring. These two will cost me about $20,000 (I am proposing only once in my life and want to get the most beautiful ring within my ability) and I need another $9,000 just til the end of the year. this loan will be paid early because I am going to receive year-end bonus in Dec/Jan - expecting ~$150,000. I have absolutely no problem with my financial health - got promoted at the beginning of this year with a pay raise. I actually have over $100,000 in an investment account, which unfortunately cannot take out for another 6 months. So hopefully i've convinced you that paying back this loan is not going to be a problem.
