With my first Prosper loan, I was able to catch up on some bills that had accrued after I gave birth to my son. Since then I have found a better job with a better company that will also provide me with many opportunities for growth. I am two and a half semesters away from finishing nursing school. I have a GPA of 3.75. The job that I have now is in a non-nursing capacity, but my company has already offered me a full-time nursing position, with a sign-on bonus and a full benefits package. The earning potential is tremendous. However, school is expensive! I had a scholarship that paid for all of last semester and I am on a payment plan for this semester. I am just finding it increasingly difficult to keep up and the last thing I want you do is drop out of school because I cannot afford it on the short-term. As a nurse, I can provide a better life for my family and I am doing a service to the community at the same time, and it will be a career that will provide me with great satisfaction. I just cannot do it on my own. I need and I am pleading for your help. The delinquency that I now have comes as a result of my inability to make the full payment amount on my tuition. I have considered using my credit card (I only have one and rarely use it), but the interest would be high and don't see the point in that. I have an excellent payment history on my first loan with Prosper. I also work a full schedule and do as much overtime as my company permits. I just need some help. A year from now, life will be different once I finish the program but it seems farther and farther and the bills are increasing. I am reaching out for help before it becomes too late. Please help me reach this goal. Thank you for your consideration. |
