I am requesting this loan ONLY to pay off multiple high interest credit cards. I always make my payments on time but it seems that I barely make a dent in what I owe because of the interest. I am certainly not interested in accumulating any more debt; I just want to pay off what I already owe more quickly.

I do not now, never have, and certainly do not plan to live a lavish lifestyle funded with credit. I am a simple person, a middle school science teacher in my 10th year of teaching and a retired Army officer.  I am educated and responsible, which makes me wonder how I got to the point of requesting a loan on this web site. When I analyze my debt situation, I see clearly what I was unable to foresee at the time I accumulated debt. My first husband, a diabetic with inadequate life insurance, died after 10 months in a coma from a deadly automobile collision, leaving me with four children, ages 7 - 14.  I spent too much money on trips to see distant relatives and activities with the children, subconsciously trying to compensate for the loss of their father. The children survived and make me proud every day, but I want to pay off their computers before they graduate from college!  I currently have three children in college and one a senior in high school. Thankfully, they are all employed and contributing to their expenses.

Please help me make one very manageable payment over a three year period instead of facing many more years of multiple payments which are constant reminders of past sadness and poor decisions resulting from judgement clouded by grief. There is no risk in this loan because I always pay my debts on time.  Thank you for helping me satisfy my obligations in a shorter time period.
