Purpose of loan:

Loan will use be to: To redeem taxes to save our home.  I found out that my previous mortgage company (New Century - which is now out of business) did not pay my taxes from my escrow payments. It was not discovered when my mortgage was transferred, only when I initiated the process of selling it.

My financial situation:

I need a little assistance to save my house.  In my initial prosper request I used the funds to help save my home which was done but I was charged an extra $10,600 in attorney fees by my lender. I have 2 payments left to discharge the foreclosure. Somehow my reports are not indicating any activity. I'm talking to my lender on this matter.

Late 2006, I  moved my parents in my other property because their property was destroyed to a fire. Due to failing health, I moved my parents in with me.  So I wanted to sell the house and use the funds to pay off debt and to buy 2 hospital beds, (for my daughter and dad). After finding an approved buyer, that's when I found out that my prior lender did not pay my 2005 taxes on both my properties. I spoke with an attorney on how I can recover the money I paid which were escrowed to pay the taxes but he indicated that it my not be a quick fix.

The county indicated that I have until March 2008 to redeem my taxes or lose the property. Apparently, they had a different address on file and the notices did not come to me. I have been trying many sources but all been unsuccessful.  The total taxes and interest charges comes to : $3650.00.

In December 2007, my wife was laid off so this makes my income our only source at this time.  Hoping this will be a temporary situation.

I have also been working out an agreement with the buyer to hold on if I can recover from this situation.

I am looking to pay off the Prosper Loans with the closing on the other property. I am hard working family man who cares greatly about family. Due to unfortunate financial and medical situation, I am requesting loan assistance for the amount of $3650.   I am very appreciative for any and all assistance. Thank you and god bless everyone.

Update: From my listing last week for $7613.36. I was blessed with a donation from a few generous individuals for part of the amount. The remaining amount left is $3650.00. A special thanks to those wonderful people.
