Eric's Credit Community

Purpose of loan:

To re-invest in Investment Grade Corporate Bonds that have depreciated significantly due to the recent market jitters and are due to mature in the next 2 to 3 years.

My financial situation:

Monthly net income: $ 3400 (This is after Health Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Transportation and 401(k)  deductions).

I work for a Corporate Turnaround firm for which I am an associate engaging in restructuring and company valuation work.  I have a Bachelor Degree in Finance & Economics and have a keen interest in learning more about these and other subjects on a continuing basis.

Additionally, I try to find the time to maintain a small re-selling business on eBay for additional income.

Monthly expenses: $ 1100

Credit Card: $500 (This includes my day-to-day expenses, I use my credit card to gain points and sometimes carry a small but steady balance).
Student Loan: $600

The remainder is used for savings and investment purposes in a brokerage account other than my 401(k).

My Debt-to-Income ratio is higher due to my Student Loan and an Auto Loan that belongs to my father, which he pays, but is under my name solely to help build my credit.
