This is a relist. Probably my last attempt for awhile. It is to fund a business expansion and allow me to hire some employees so I can stop balancing 2 full-time jobs! I have applied for a SBA loan, which I'm told takes forever. I've also been offered an American Express Card for my business, but I would prefer to pay my interest to other Prosper lenders and I think a stable monthly payment would be the smarter way to go at this point. I have increased my interest rate to attract more bidders! Read on for details of my last listings. This is my fourth attempt. The last listing only reached about 8%. The listing before that was fully funded, but I did not get my address verification into the Prosper folks in time to secure it. I apologize to everyone whose money got tied up with that listing. I have now verified my address and have all my documentation in order. I am a Prosper success story and I'm looking to expand a thriving business. I have a history of good payment with prosper, a steadily improving credit report (up to a B from a C in just the past month!), and recently purchased my own farm! I have been a responsible borrower for over a year and a half now and have been a newbie lender for about half a year. A year and a half ago after a series of medical and personal problems destroyed my once excellent credit I came to Prosper to get a loan to pay back a relative who had helped me out when things were rough. My credit was in the tank - HR. I had 6 delinquencies on my record and I had nowhere else to turn. The only thing I had to back me up was my 22 years of steady employment. The folks at Prosper took a chance on me and I am back on my feet and thriving. I have made all my loan payments on time. I have cleaned up my credit report with the exception of one delinquency which is a disputed item. The credit card in dispute does not belong to me and I hope to have that cleared off my record in the next 30 days. My credit rating is up to a B and on its way back to an AA. And thanks to Prosper's trust in me, besides paying my relative back I was able to pursue a life-long dream and start my own business as a part-time freelance translator while still working my full-time job. With my new translation business booming it's time to hire a full-time office manager to take over the administrative side of the house while I concentrate on the technical side. I'm looking for a loan from Prosper to fund the new employee's salary and benefits for the first 6 months as well as provide up-front money to hire freelance-contractors to help me with the work load and continue to grow my business. Paying this loan back will not be a problem. Here is a breakdown of income and expenses: Income from full-time job: $5200 a month Income from translation agency (varies by month): $1800-2400 a month Mortgage: $2300 Car Payment: $700 Car Insurance: $120 Electric Bill: $120 Oil Bill: $150 Cable/Internet: $50 Cell Phone: $90 Groceries: $480 Gas for the Car: $200 Credit Cards: $480 (I only have 2 and I tend to pay them off in full each month). Prosper Loan: $230 Small TFCU Loan (to help with closing costs): $180 We also have horses, but their costs (hay/feed/bedding) are completely covered by the two boarders we have. As you can see, the income from the translation agency would easily cover the monthly Prosper payment for the new loan. Thank you for considering bidding on my loan. It will give you an opportunity to make a nice return on your investment with very little risk and will help me continue on the road to financial and professional freedom |
