Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to purchase the most beautiful diamond engagement ring I've found, which is what my amazing girlfriend Renee deserves.  We've been together over 2 years now and I still remember our first date which seems like it was only yesterday.  Just like the saying, time flies when you're having fun.  So we've been browsing jewelry stores all over lately, and we happened to find the perfect one in a little family-owned store where my family's lake cabin is, about 3 hours from where we live.  The ring was unlike anything else we've found locally, so I've put money down on it, holding it in my name.  Now I'm just seeking the remainder so I can go pick it up and surprise my girlfriend.  I hope you'll find this opportunity to be low risk and I thank you all for your consideration!

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because my debt to income ratio is not very high.  I have a great career in the architecture field which I've been in for 9 years now since graduating private college.  My employer has been around since 1969 so stability is not an issue.  In a time when layoffs are common, I've actually recently received a large raise to stay with my current employer when I was being sought after by a competitor.  Therefore, my income is stable and is due for another increase in 3 months.  I have been a homeowner for almost 8 years now, purchasing my home when I was 21.  Over 2 years ago, I was late on my mortgage once, which you'll see listed above.  That came during the holidays, which are usually expensive enough, but on top of that, my Golden Retriever "Toby" became ill and needed expensive hospitalization.  Unlike people hospitals, they require payment before treatment, so I was forced to make the  hard decision and pay for his treatment.  He is much better now, and I quickly recovered from that late mortgage payment.  All in all I have a good credit history and hopefully you'll feel confident in my ability to repay the loan, which I intend to do more quickly than 36 months.
