Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay down credit card debt; As a single mother with no help from a dead-beat father, I have raised a terrific son, who had a private high school education and now has 3 years of college under his belt. Unfortunately, I have used plenty of credit to get him thru his education. Now, I am paying a hefty price with high interest rates, because my debt is high! I believe with this loan, I could get my debt/income ratio lowered much faster by paying down the debt faster. I also have a second job that gives me much needed monthly income. My credit score is still good; but it could certainly be better! I would like to be paying one or two larger payments per month, instead of the many I am paying now. With the higher interest rates I have, I don't seem to be making headway! I live with my elderly mom to help her out, and consequently have no housing costs (as her house is paid off). I just need to see some light at the end of the tunnel. My goal is to be totally debt-free within 3 years! My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a goal to retire within the next 15 years, and I am on a quest to be debt free within three years! I am extremely motivated to do this! And, if possible, this loan will not be outstanding for 3 years; I would like to pay it off sooner than later.
