Hi, Thanks for viewing my listing. My "B" credit rating reflects the hard work I have put forth to improve my credit score from 5 years ago when all of my past delinquencies occurred. Please review my application based on where I am today and where I am headed, and not by my disappointing past. I've been close on past listings, still believe in the Prosper philosophy. Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to? Payoff a $4,000 finance loan(37%), pay a $900 orthodontist bill and to further improve my credit score. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? I have a very good job and income. I have been improving my credit score for the past three years. I pay all of my bills on time. We had some credit problems in the past when my wife was not working but she has now been employed with the school district for the past 2 years as a computer technician and my income has been increasing 4.5% per year. . I just received a copy of my credit report to investigate the current delinquency listed on my Prosper credit profile. $149 From Comcast Cable - I switched to Dish Network in May 2005. Comcast kept charging me after I called to cancel. I will pay now to get it off my report even though I don't feel I owe them. $19 Small balance remaining on a hospital bill for an operation my son had four years ago. Did not know about this, have paid now. That equals $168 of the Total delinquency. All my other delinquencies have been paid years before. Most of them were doctor and hospital bills that were eventually paid by my insurance company. I did have some past due problems 4 or 5 years ago when my wife went back to school, but those have all been paid and I have been up to date with all my bills for the last three years. We have a much more stable life now and would like to continue moving our credit rating to AA status. Please ask me any questions you might have. I'm not afraid to answer anything. I did receive a raise in salary starting Jan 1, 2008 that will put me over $100,000 for the year. My recent inquiries were for reducing my car loan in Nov 07( I just lowered my car payment rate from 16.99% to 9.99%) and also looking to refinance current mtg (7.9%) to a lower rate. In the future I would like to become a lender on this site. Monthly net income: $ 4,418 my income after taxes, insurance(Health, Dental & Life), 401K, HSA 890 my wife's income 5,308 plus annual bonus of $7000 Monthly expenses: $ 4,410 includes this loan if approved Housing: $ 2167 Insurance: $ 150 Car expenses: $ 700 Utilities: $ 150 Phone, cable, internet: $ 150 Food, entertainment: $ 350 Clothing, household expenses $ 150 Credit cards and other loans: $389 plus the Prosper loan($204) payment Other expenses |
