Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to get rid of my Citibank Credit Card!! Current Balance: $6305.56 at 18.24% My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have no delinquencies and am responsible with my money. I have had a credit card since I was 16 years old and have NEVER gone delinquent on an account. I am a recent college graduate and have managed to land a well-paying job. During the course of my studies, I did 2 independent home stays to Japan, took extra courses over the summer so that I could double minor (in Japanese and French) and studied abroad for a semester in Rouen, France. As you can imagine, all these things were very expensive and I have carried the debt with me since then. I have finally made some headway against the debt and would really like to get rid of my citibank card; the interest rate is so high in comparison to my other cards and they have not been flexible in lowering their rate. I would like to get this loan so that I can really stick it to them and finally be rid of Citibank for good! After this loan gets funded, I will be cutting up this card.
