Purpose of loan: The only purpose of this loan is to re-invest in the prosper community. My financial situation: I'm a good candidate for this loan because I make more than 150K per year. I also have an undergrad in Accounting from the University of Kansas and completed my MBA in 2004. I recognize the value prosper provides people who are struggling with high debt levels and dealing with the current credit crunch gripping the economy. I want to help improve the lives of these people by providing them affordable loans allowing them to relieve their high debt loads. My current monthly income is $9500 with additional bonuses of $8000-10000 per quarter. I also consult and do large-scale software architecture and development on the side which brings in additional income. On a monthly basis I invest around $3000-4000 in mutual funds, 401K, stock purchase, prosper, etc. I also own a condo and a commercial rental property. After expenses, all of my income is invested in stocks and bonds as mentioned previously. I've decided to borrow on prosper so I can continue funding these investments while diversifying my overall portfolio into personal loans.
