Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay down credit card debt; I am a single mother who has raised a terrific son, who had a private high school education and now has 3 years of college under his belt. Unfortunately, with no help from his father, I have used plenty of credit to get him thru his education. Now, I am paying a hefty price with high interest rates, because my debt ratio is huge! I also have a second job that gives me much needed monthly income. My credit score is still relatively good; I would like it to be better! I would like to start thinking about retiring, but while I have these debts hanging over my head, it is really hard to think about it. I am just trying to consolidate my debts, to pay one payment per month, instead of the many I am paying now. I just don't seem to be getting ahead on the bills! I moved in with my mother to help her out, and so I have no housing costs (as her house is paid off), which has been a big help. I just need to see some light at the end of the tunnel. My goal is to be totally debt-free within 3 years! My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have a goal to retire within the next 10 years, and I need to be out of debt, and be able to purchase a home for my "golden" years. I am totally fanatical about paying my bills on time.
