Purpose of loan: The primary purpose of this loan is to help improve my credit by having another account on my report with a perfect repayment history. I will use the proceeds to pay off the $300 balance on my credit card, purchase a birthday gift for my girl and place the remainder in a savings account. My financial situation: My credit went downhill after I was laid off in 2001. It took a while, but I was able to turn things around and pay off over $10,000 in debt. My current monthly income from my part time job (that I have had for nearly 5 years) is low, but I make additional (and consistent) advertising income from a network of websites. I live with my girlfriend who has been employed full time since I met her (3+ years ago). I am deeply committed to raising my credit score so I will not make any late payments. In fact, I intend to make more than the minimum payment every month so I have this loan payed off in half the time.
