Due to some unexpected medical and automotive expenses (vehicles are paid off), my wife and I would like to pay off some high-interest credit card debt. We both have stable jobs, she is a school teacher and I work for a large facility owned by the county. We have owned our home for 2 1/2 years and are current on our payments.
