Thank you to those that bid on my first listing. I really appreciate your confidence and kindness. The original listing of $5000 was for the purchase of an outdoor sign for our new business, Bobeans, LLC. That listing included a cushion for any unforeseen glitches with the sign lettering and installation. I have lowered the loan amount which will sufficiently cover the cost of the sign. The sign will increase our visibility/advertising in the shopping center where we are located. Currently, we have a vinyl, weather-proof banner. We are a family of 5; myself, my husband, and our 3 children, ages - 17/13/10. We began this business as a family endeavor in Feb. 2006. We plan, and host themed children?s birthday parties. All 5 of us are actively involved. My husband and I are both very active parents. We both coach soccer, I was the PTO president of our elementary school for six years, and I now work full time for our middle school. Every committee or cause from the annual Halloween parade, to the planning of our technology growth in our school district, we have been intimately involved in. My husband works for Herrs' Food Inc. He works in our community every day. We have been extremely fortunate in building a large network of friends and acquaintances. With 3 children, hosting each of their birthday parties more and more of a fun adventure. After each one, the parents would always comment and ask where we got ideas and props and so forth. We decide to combine all of these ingredients and open a store. Since our opening, we are averaging 12 parties per month, this covers all of our business expenses. We also plan to implement 2 more themes, and enclose a portion (about 1/2 acre) of ground adjacent to our store with a fence. Using canopy tents and some creative twinkle lighting, we can host parties outside. With the scheduled bookings, we will be up to 16 parties per month by December, and then with the fencing in place, be at 20 parties per month by spring of 2007. One thing we have learned, is that parents will spend money on their children. Especially a celebration and especially when the celebration is memorable, fun, and unique. With the current economic climate, both parents work, time is valuable and often non-existent. Bobeans offers a solution, so far we met with great response.
