This will be my second loan with the good members of Prosper. I paid my last loan of $1300 off with no late payments and before it was due. I am rebuilding my credit and will not dissapoint any lenders who may bid on my loan request ABOUT ME: I am 42 years old, a father of three 2 boys and a girl. I have been married to the same wonderful woman for the last 19 years. I am a manager at a nationwide retailer and have been for the last 3 years. I love to fish, hunt, fix up old cars and spend time with my family. I absolutely love my job there is nothing better then helping people everyday customers and my employees. I am very well respected at my job and in my private life as well. EXPLANATION OF BAD CREDIT: In the late 1990?s until late 2002 I owned and operated my own flooring and cabinet retail store. This was a dream I had for years I started it with very little and grew it into a million dollar a year business. When 911 happened and the economy went down hill I took a huge loss in business because people were not spending money on those type of items at that time. To make a long story short I had to file bankruptcy and close my store. The effects of this are still with me at this time in my credit record. There are late pays and collections showing in my report that are from the bankruptcy and are not valid at this time. The one loan that I did get after the bankruptcy is a car payment and I have never been late not even 1 day. WHAT I WILL DO WITH THE MONEY LOANED TO ME: I have some small bills that I want to payoff with this loan but the main reason for the loan is to rebuild my credit. I have more money in my savings then what I am asking for so paying back is not a problem. My debt to income is very good I just want to rebuild my credit. I would like to be a home owner again and without rebuilding my credit that will never happen in the time frame I would like. HERE ARE MY MONTHLY FINANCIAL DETAILS: Net income after payroll deductions from all sources: $3750 Spouse's Income: $ 1200 Total monthly family Income $ 4950 Mortgage/Rent: $ 675 Phone: $ 150 Water: $ 80 Electricity & Gas: $ 275 Car Loan and Operating Expenses: $ 734 Food: $ 1000 Insurance: $ 150 Cable/Internet: $ 90 Clothing, expenses for children, etc. $ 150 Credit cards and loans that won't be paid off with my Prosper loan: $ 25 Other: $ 700 ( retirement/education)Total Monthly Expenses : $ 4029 I will have $921 left to make the payments on my Prosper loan. CLOSING REMARKS TO LENDERS: As you can see, I am finally in a place where with just a bit of help I could bring myself back to a good credit rating over the next few years.
