Purpose of loan: I live in south Orange County, California and I'm a private school educator. As a single person I've used credit cards over time. Although I'm always able to pay my bills, I'm now interested in purchasing a home. The market is softening in the area, and prices are showing signs of coming down. With that in mind, I have a plan to purchase in April or May of 2008. I will be secure better funding for purchasing a home if I reduce my debt. My financial situation: I always pay all of my bills on time. However, the high credit card interest rates don't show much reduction in debt over time. Securing a prosper loan is one of my plan to pay down debt over a shorter period of time, that is reasonable. I am also very secure in my job and at the top of my game in terms of my career. I will use 100% of the money that I borrow through Prosper to pay down high interest credit car debt. That way I can use the money that I used to use on the credit cards to pay back Prosper, along with more directed personal budgeting. I am specifically interested in securing a Prosper loan to pay off two particular credit card debts that have high interest rates. Both of those accounts are closed.
