*******   We have not missed a single payment on our Prosper account and will be set up for autodebit on this one.  ********

WE TRIED TO PUT IN HIGHER INTEREST RATE BUT PROSPER SAYS THERE IS A LIMIT IN TEXAS NOW AND WE COULDN'T DO IT.  WE REALIZE A HIGHER INTEREST RATE IS MORE APPROPRIATE BUT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES WE ACCEPTED THE MAXIMUM PROSPER WOULD ALLOW.

Wife and I bought a house and remodeled it because of her back issues we raised the counters, put in special tub and the list goes on (about 150k total).  We have maxed out our personal credit cards and that has caused our credit rating to go down a lot more than we expected.  Before the remodel we were 710 and 720; now we are both A LOT lower.

NOTE:  As a show of how good our credit was, we have two cards with 30k limits and several with 10k limits.  We could not get these cards if we didn't have good credit.

We were supposed to receive a large settlement from a law suit in January, but the Judge disallowed almost 2/3 of it.  We did sell our lot and have made some headway on most of the bills. (Debt load shown is not current)

To further lower our debt, we sold the Deville.

We own 30 acres of land in Harris County worth about 900k and is up for sale now.  When it sells, we will pay off all our debts completely and retire.  Hopefully, that will be in the next year or so as we are both in our 50s now.

We will be paying off the first Prosper loan with some of this and paying off the highest interest rate other bills, along with catching up on any that are behind.  This should bring our credit back into perspective.

The Debt to Income Ratio is not correct.  With our current debts it should be closer to 85%

Regardless of our other debts, we have never missed on Prosper because this a program we believe in and as a matter of fact, we have several active loans in place as a Lender here.  These were made before our current jam and once we are out of the hole again, we intend to continue making loans to those in need.

We both make good money (85k to 95k per year combined) and are just in a short-term jam now.  Please help us out of this fix so we can get back where we need to be.

Thanks,

Tony & Kathy
