Purpose of loan: I was in an automotive accident a short time ago and after the settlement, I still owe about $1600 on the car. Stupid upside-down loan! I've applied for $2600.00 to increase my chances for approval. I work for Disney in Burbank, CA and have worked for Disney in some capacity 9 out of the past 12 years. It's where I intend to be for the remainder of my working days. I have a steady salary and work part-time jobs every so often to try and make ends meet a little better. This loan would be nice, because it would help me to keep building the credit I have, instead of destroying it. It would allow me to pay off some remaining debt on a car that was totaled in accident -- I was left upside-down on the loan and was given 30 days to pay. My financial situation: I'm a great candidate for paying this back! I've already been paying my current Prosper loan on automatic payments since February. I just need to get this paid down and keep building that credit! I'll be honest, I've made some stupid choices in the past, but I will not renege on my financial obligations. There is a bankruptcy in my past, but that's been 3 years and, as you can see by my ability to get credit, I've built up enough goodwill to at least get myself in a situation where I've built some debt to prove my responsibility and restraint. In terms of my credit score, it's actually been at high as 624 recently. I think the reason that it fell has been having two auto loans at the same time.
