The Purpose of this loan is so I can finally take myself on a vacation AND pay a few emergency expenses! I have never been on a real vacation, believe it or not!!!! I work so hard and and can't seem to have enough money left over at the end of the month to really save to do anything like this for myself!!! Some emergency always comes up. This month it was my car. New battery, brakes, rotors...you know the EXPENSE! So, my vacation is what I'll have to give up if I don't find a little extra cash. Then I thought about Prosper, who has helped me in the past!!! I have been a social worker for youth in foster care for the past 15 years. I currently have a VERY secure job with LA County. But I've worked in this field for many years. I worked at my last job for 5 years. My job will always be secure, as I have an MSW. I enjoy this profession very much and helping youth in foster care. It is a fulfilling career, but also very hard and stressful. Can't explain how I've made it 15 years with no vacation. I'm not exaggerating either. I've never taken more than 3 days off at a time to go anywhere. And usually that was to work some more (modeling, singing, etc...). Never to just relax, which is what I plan to do on this trip to Hawaii!! My current financial situation is decent. I make over 50k/year as a social worker. I am a hard worker and I pay all my bills on time. I also work in the music industry as a vocalist on various soundtracks, commercial jingles and studio sessions. This is also sporadic, but sometimes consistent income for me. I feel I would be an excellent candidate for this loan because I am loyal and dependable. I would make sure that the loan is paid back without any late pays EVER. Any other personal loan, including car note, student loan or private loans have all been paid off, with NO late pays EVER. Or are currently being paid as agreed with no late pays. I take pride in paying on time because I've been in bad credit situations right out of college when I didn't know better. Now I know better...so I do better! I've established a great rapport with all creditors and I don't have an interest rate higher than 17% with any creditor! My last loan on Prosper was funded at slightly over 13%. I am worth a good % rate. Owning a home is a near future goal of mine. Real estate in Los Angeles is SO ridiculous! But I'll get there. In the meantime...I need a serious vacation. Monthly income: $ 4200-4700 Approx.
