Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off high interest credit cards. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I take my responsibilities very seriously and always pay off my debt in a timely manner. This loan would enable us to pay off our outstanding credit card debt within three years. I have always faithfully paid my bills, but a late payment here and there over the years has escalated the interest on my credit card debt -- to the point that I cannot get ahead financially. I am a doctor in training and will be finished with my training by 2010. My husband and I have been in school or in training for the past eight years, while we also have two daughters in full-time daycare. We live modestly. We used our credit cards to help pay daycare, end of the month expenses and job training expenses (I had to attend a training course in Wash DC for a month this year). We have always set the priority to paying our bills and our children's daycare -- and on our modest salaries, that is all we have been able to do. My work schedule is variable (from 50-over 80 hours a week) plus I work two part time jobs. We really believe in Prosper and think a community like this is much needed in this predatory credit card environment! Please help us!
