Welcome, and thank you for visiting! I am re-listing with high hopes. One of my recent requests was funded, but canceled due to a minor paperwork error. Although it has been corrected, it seems to have hurt my recent listings, so I?m asking kindly not to hold it against me. I sincerely want to thank each of you who bid last time and sent encouraging messages! We can do this!

Purpose of Loan
I need help to get out from under the overwhelming stress of payday loans and stay in school so I may continue to prepare for my future career. I am a good candidate because I am absolutely committed to raising my credit score, have a stable job history, and I make enough money to repay the loan once it is in place. As evidence of my commitment, I would like to note that my credit score has increased from an E to a D since my first listing.

About Me
I am a full-time student, studying environmental science and technical writing. I will be a senior next semester. I maintain an above-average GPA (above 3.0) while also working full-time. I have done undergraduate research in my field and am receiving scholarships. I will be the first person in my immediate family to get a college degree, so this is a goal I am working very hard to achieve.

My Credit
I was laid off from a major airline after 7 years as a result of 9/11. When I began my current job as an aircraft mechanic with the government, there was a significant difference in starting pay and I got behind on many bills, resulting in the four public records you see listed. From 2005-2007, I paid them off, but realize a couple items have not been reported to the credit agencies as paid, and I am working diligently to correct those inaccuracies. I have asked the lender showing the delinquency to please update my file, but am in the process of filing disputes with the 3 credit agencies by sending copies of my settlement receipts.

My Financial Situation

I turned to payday loans when I had a tuition problem earlier this year and realized my credit was significantly damaged. I intended to pay them off immediately, but a minor car repair forced me to rob Peter to pay Paul and I got sucked in. I have paid these loan amounts many times over just in interest. I need help to get on top of these, since my current payments go to fees and interest while the principal changes very little. (I have managed to pay off 2 other lenders since my initial listing.)

With a Prosper Loan I will pay off:
The Cash Store: $1150
Check N Go: $1000
Checkmania: $900
Money 4 You: $1210
UT Title Loans $825
Check City $900

Total: $5985

My Monthly Budget (With Prosper loan in place)
Gross pay per month: $3948
Net pay per month: $2424

Prosper Loan: $270
Auto Loan (used car) $200
Gasoline: $150
Signature Loan: $115
Groceries: $200
School Expenses: $100
Discretionary Spending $300
Advance Til Payday: $100
QC Finance: $100

Total: $1535
Leftover: $889
(Housing, car insurance, and utilities paid by my spouse.)

As you can see, I make more than enough to repay the loan and build up savings so this doesn?t happen again. I am current on all other bills and do not own any credit cards. I do not want to risk my husband's perfect credit, so I'm here. I will choose automatic withdrawal of loan payments to make sure this priority is taken care of.

I realize I have made mistakes, but am educating myself on how to NOT let it happen again by learning to plan and budget. (I will enlist the help of professionals. My local credit union is offering assistance.) The stress is negatively affecting my life and threatening my education. Although I?m keeping my chin up and can work through these challenges, I need some help.

Thank you for your kind consideration!
