I RELISTED for better interest. I apologize to those that have just invested, I hope you will understand. My last listing closed fully funded at about 19%, while others with similar credit and loan amount on Prosper are around 10%. Previously I had it started at such a high interest was due to my husband, he figured it would attract more investors, like his loan with prosper did the interest will go down to around 10%. I figured it didn't because we started the listing around Christmas. First of all, Prosper has me listed as unemployed, but I am a fully employed housewife. : ) Soon I will be working as a cashier part time at $10/hr. I will be working at the same store, Lowe's, as my cousin in-law, which we will be swing shift watching each others child, so there will be no day care expenses. My husband has a job lined up with Dot Foods, a commercial trucking company where his Uncle works and earns upwards of $70K/yr. in his 3rd year. 1st year at around $50K/yr. This loan will be used to first of all consolidate all my credit cards for one quick easy payment. Total Credit Card debit is about $6,000 from various credit cards, minimum payments on them total to about $200 month at interest rates around 20%, which will be replaced with this Prosper loan with higher payment, because it will be paid off sooner and at lower interest rate. Secondly, cover the cost we paid to move to California (I?ll explain why CA), cost us a total of about $2,000. Third is cost to get out of our apt. lease in GA of $2,000. We are good candidates for this loan because we want to pay off our debt, not run away from it. Sooner we can have our debt paid off the sooner I can go to college and major in Accounting. I hate debt. The only reason we have debt is because my husband lost his job last Aug. He tried doing insurance sales with American Income Life Insurance with his cousin, that didn?t go over so well. All our debt is from necessary monthly expenses of about $3,000/month plus business expenses my husband spent. Great luck I pushed my husband to find something else, so now we are getting back on our feet, he will become a truck driver. He is currently working on achieving his CDL. We are living with my husband?s Grandmother (bless her kind heart) for the first year or so to help us get acclimated to California and adjust to his new job. Only reason were in CA is to live with his Grandmother and start his career truck driving. Despite CA high cost of living, this won?t apply to us so much, thanks to his Grandma. We will have no rent to pay and his Grandmother doesn?t want us to pay the utilities (except very small portion we use not sure of amount yet, probably not much, about $100 at most), she wants to help us so we can concentrate on paying our debts off SOON as possible. The only bills we will have will be cell phones $80/mo., auto insurance $115/mo., health insurance (benefit from truck company, not sure how much yet), internet $60, and Prosper, this loan and my husband?s Prosper loan which will total about $860/mo..including groceries $300, gas $150, child supplies $60 and so forth total monthly expenses for us here is a lot LESS staying with his grandmother. Monthly expenses total around $1,800/month which includes prospers min. payments. All extra income will go to pay debt off SOON, Especially the money I will be making will be a extra about $1,000 going to pay debt off soon. We have a total of $26,000 in debt all with prosper, including this loan that is listed. With the minimum payments and what I will be making extra, so total of $1,800/mo. will go to paying off debt, which will take us 15 months. THEN DEBT FREE!!!We are homeowners. We own a home in Georgia that is being rented out right now by friends from Church who are planning on buying around May ?08. I hope I covered everything, but please ask any questions you might have. |
