Hello & thank you for considering my loan request.

I currently have a Prosper loan (since 6/16/2006), and I have never missed a payment.  I work in a professional admin series for a scientific federal agency with a total of 28 years of service.  I have been married for 33 years, and we have two grown children.

During 2007 my sister suffered some serious medical issues, and I have had to help her with hospital and medical bills.  If I am fortunate to be funded through Prosper, the money will be used to consolidate debt as follows and lower my monthly payments.

• Pay off hospital bill $3,400, $300/month
• Pay off current Prosper loan $4,042, $262.83/month
• Pay off current work Thrift Savings plan loan $2,576, $433.71/month
• Pay off credit card debt $10,000, $800/month

My Monthly Net Income: $4,129.74 (with new 3.5% raise beginning January $4,274.29)

My Husband?s Net Income:  $4,114.42

Monthly Expenses BEFORE PROSPER Loan: $5,033
Housing: $2,332
Utilities: $200
Phone, cable, internet: $150
Food, entertainment, household expenses: $1,000
Current Prosper loan: $263
Work Thrift Savings Plan loan $434
Credit cards & other loans: $854
Hospital and medical bills $200
Misc other expenses $500 Monthly Expenses

AFTER PROSPER Loan: $4,182

The difference is $1,750, to pay a new Prosper loan, have more discretionary monthly income, and have only one payment to keep track of.    Thank you for your consideration.  Even though my debt ratio is high, it will not be a problem to make payments.  Much of the debt will be paid down.  My husband's net income is $4,114/month and our daughter, who is living with us, pays $650/month. Thank you for your consideration.
