Purpose of loan: I am requesting this loan to consolidate all of my credit card debt into one monthly payment. With the decrease that I will be paying in interest, my credit score will rise as this loan will be paid off in full. I also wish to put away a little of my monthly income into savings for some unforeseen circumstances. My financial situation: I am going to get married in July of 2008 to not only the love of my life but also my best friend. I do not want to start our lives together in a lot of high-interest debt. Therefore, I will do everything in my power to pay this loan in full and prevent living off my credit. My Current Monthly Cash Flow BEFORE Prosper Loan: +$370.40 Monthly Net Income: $1,632.00 Monthly Expenses: $1,261.60 Housing: $300 Insurance: $99.50 Car Expenses: $323.10 - $ 65 gas, $ 258.10 loan payment Utilities: $50 (power) Phone, Cable, Internet: $75 Food & Entertainment: $150 Credit Card Payments: $177 Other Expenses: $87 - $55 storage unit, $32 gym dues My Current Monthly Cash Flow AFTER Prosper Loan: +$369.01 Monthly Net Income: $1,632.00 Monthly Expenses: $1,261.60 (less) Credit Card Payments: ($177) Prosper Loan Payment: $178.39 ($4,800 @ avg D rate of 20%) Although these two scenarios don't seem all that different, I will be saving a lot of money each month by only paying the interest for this loan rather than several different credit cards.
