About Me: My husband & I recently purchased a home with the assistance of Prosper. I have had my Prosper account open since Dec 2006 & I have never been late on ANY of my 12 payments. I'm requesting this loan to assist with college fees. The reason for my HR status is listed below. In 2000 I was laid off of my job and was off work for almost a year and the bills started backing up causing my credit to become poor. In 2000 I was not married so I had not other income besides unemployment and that did not last very long and was not enough to cover all of my exspenses. The majority of my DQ's are from 2000 & 2001 and are a result of my being laid off. We have a great employment history now, I've been on this job since 2001. Our monthly income is $4300.00 after taxes and our breakdown of bills are: Bills Before Loan: Rent $1100.00 My car $250.00 His Car: Paid Car Insur-$133.00 Utilities-$270.00 (decreases during cooler seasons) Cable/Ph/Internet-$100.00 Groceries-$400.00 Water-$60.00 Misc.-$300.00-Gas, Entertainment Etc Total of monthly bills-$2613.00 We will have $1687.00 remaining to repay the loan.
