I did my first listing aiming for a loan amount to cover total cost without consulting with other lenders to aim for a loan amount that will actually fund; my sources tell me I was asking for too much - so third time is the charm I hope. My first Prosper loan was used to finance an advertising campaign which was successful enough to pay back the entire loan balance within six months. This loan will also be used to finance a similar campaign. My financial situation: I am a lender on prosper and I am also a lender by profession ? I own a small firm specializing financing new home buyers into bank owned properties with conforming loans. Please note: 1. Florida is rate capped at 16.27% 2. I am not a member of a group on purpose so please don't solicit me. 3. I have reduced the requested loan amount and increased the listing duration as lender activity appears to be (way) down at this time. 4. The inquiries on my credit are associated with my company - every time we are approved with another wholesale lender they run my credit to verify that I am responsible enough to loan their money (its a pain, but unavoidable). Thanks! -dynafire A: Sure. Toward the end of 2004 I had to dissolve a company due to the behavior of a partner it had became a serious liability to me with our names being associated. The financial situation this left me in caused me to run late a multiple of times on a number of accounts - It was a tough time.
