I currently have a loan with prosper in perfect standing after 15 payments. Since I applied for my last loan I had 2 major credit changes; one was my truck which was stolen and while waiting for GAP insurance to finish their paperwork the finance company placed it on my credit as a charge off. This is not accurate and I have been reassured that it will be restored to good status soon, for whatever that means. The second change is because I got late on my house payment, which I have since made arrangements with the company to remedy. Due to time constraints I would always pay my bill online, I forgot it one month until it was past due and they had posted two payments due instead of one. I did not have the money to pay the two payments and they would not allow for a partial payment on the website. I called to try to do it over the phone but was placed on hold until I couldn't wait any longer. I meant to send it in and just kept forgetting. Each month I couldn't catch up my payments because I could only pay the full amount and finally I stopped procrastinating and called and waited on hold until I could make payment arrangements to catch it up. Notice that none of my other creditors have the same problem, it was an accident and an isolated circumstance which I regret and hope you can overlook. I committed to purchasing extra inventory for my business to finish off the end of the year quotas and I do not right now have the money to cover them. Once I have them, I will resell them and replenish the funds plus profits but I cannot get them delivered until the funds are available. I originally wanted to get a higher loan to cover the entire cost, but I am going to go out and hustle the next couple of days and feel like I probably make about half of what I need if some of you on here and look at my performance as a whole and help me with the other half.
