Greetings! Thanks for clicking and reading this listing, and I hope you like it! Why I need this loan: I am a 26-year-old computer technician, and have worked supporting a national retailer's computers for nearly three years as a contractor. I now have a permanent position with one of the retailer's IT vendors, w/better health benefits. Take dental insurance, which I last had in college. I have two front teeth that were broken as a child, and in need of root canals and permanent crowns. Over the years since the accident I?ve had ?temporary crowns" that would be easy to redo as I aged. They are chipped now, and have been for over a year. They function, but cosmetically it is not a pretty sight. I have several other teeth that need work, like a molar that broke >six months ago. Insurance will pay 90% of root canal and 60% for crowns. Unfortunately, the coinsurance is not available without dipping into emergency savings. Why is this loan a good investment for you: 1. Low debt to income ratio. My 6% DTI reflects my old, lower salary as a contractor, not my new salary as a permanent employee or full household income, and includes the Prosper loan itself. My boyfriend makes a little more than I did as a contractor, and we split bills evenly. Our car is paid for, we keep credit card usage to a minimum. 2. No late payments in the last two years. Please see my profile and contact my group leader for information. I have been working hard to improve my credit. My boyfriend's credit is better, but this is my mouth and I want to be the one to pay for it. 3. Transparency. I have posted for over a year on a popular credit repair forum, so my history is readily available. My group leader has copies of paycheck stubs from my old position and documents for my new direct hire job, my credit reports, and has talked to me on the phone. Check cellardoor's profile for verification of all statements from him here. Why the low interest rate? I am putting the max allowed by Arkansas. Sorry about that. I sincerely hope you will consider this investment anyway. I really look forward to smiling without hesitation again. And after the work is done, I plan on posting pictures of my new beautiful smile! cellardoor says: 1.Her 2 "current" delinquent accounts are: a) paid off delinquency reporting w/0 balance. This "error" seems consistent w/past errors that I've seen firsthand, b) tuition payment - she says that her college, years ago, was supposed to cancel enrollment before that term because financial aid did not apply. I have copious documentary evidence supporting this claim. 2.Past delinquencies have all been reported as paid off chargeoffs, all seem consistent in timing with her self-documented marriage breakup (posts to this effect from way before Prosper) 3.Currently open accounts reflect conservative credit card use ? prob paid in full, w/ low balances at statement time. I've spoken with her on a number of subjects, and engaged in considerable online interaction as well, and I was impressed by her integrity and thoughtfulness -- not that my definition of either is universal. Call it a C on the way up, with B to A like characteristics (subjective default wise, not ability to get credit elsewhere). To some degree, this may liquidity handicap her in an emergency, but it also means she won't be racking up huge bills on mammoth credit lines (yet -- not that I'd expect her to in future). I bid in part for social reasons, but have high confidence in repayment. |
