Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to?pay off 4 credit cards totalling $19,000. We got into trouble with credit cards because we had invested in a business with other investors, that ended up bankrupt. My husband was without a job for almost a year and we needed to pay our bills - using credit cards. He has now been employed for 3 years but with high interest rates, we are not making much progress with paying off the cards. Combining the debt and making just one payment would help us a lot. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because?we have never defaulted on any loan. We meet our obligations always. We had to move to another city before my husband was able to find a job. Now, 3 years later, we didn't want to continue renting so we purchased a townhome. This only made our ability to pay off these credit cards even harder. But throwing away money on rent seemed unwise, too. My job is secure and so is my husband's job. We both earn around $55,000 per year each. |
