I would really like to thank everyone that bid on my last listing. Though it did not fund, I truly appreciate your faith in me. I am the proud father of the five children in the picture above. The oldest will be graduating high school in May and the youngest is currently in the 5th grade. In 2003, I was laid off from my position as an insurance claims manager. After a year and a half of unemployment and living only on my wife's salary, I secured a position with the city government here in Chicago as an executive assistant for the chief attorney in my department. During my period of unemployment, I got behind on my bills, especially on some medical bills for me, my wife, and one of my children. I have been working on catching all my bills back up, especially the deliquencies. Most of this loan ($2750) will be used to clear up my most serious delinquencies and the rest I will set aside for an emergency cushion fund for the family. After this, I will be able to tackle the rest of the old debt comfortably and quickly, as I will have more cash monthly to apply to it. I purchased a vehicle for my wife to drive to work with in February of this year, and this payment is and has been current. My position with the city is very stable, as are my current expenses. I know that my credit looks horrible, but I do hope that you will have faith in me and give me the chance that I need to make things better with my credit and my life. I am also looking into the open lines of credit, I have two charge cards and a car loan, no others. The charge cards are current and are being paid down. I do not use them any more. With much work and shopping for bargains, it can be done) Clothing, household expenses $ 50.00 Credit cards and other loans: $ 48.00 Other expenses: $ 150.00 After this, I have $394 left for the month, which is used for debt payoff and other expenses that come up during the month.
