Purpose of loan: My company requested me to purchase a surplus of inventory to help them hit quotas for the end of the year. The inventory will not expire or go bad and has a quick turnaround. This loan is easily guaranteed because we have over 40 substandard contracts we could sell and make the money back but it would require the inventory in advance to get paid on them and usually takes 2 weeks to a month and the notice was too short before the end of the year. My financial situation: I have a loan with prosper in perfect standing, I have 43 satisfied accounts on my credit profile with 2 currently delinquent and 5 total deliquencies in the past 7 years. One of the currently delinquents is a car that was stolen and my GAP insurance finally paid it off after 6 months and the finance company trying to say it was a charge-off - I am only waiting for the credit reporting companies to update their records and remove this delinquency. The other is my house and although it is behind full repayment arrangements have been made with the company. I always pay my bills online because I am busy working alot and one month I forgot and went to pay it a little late and they had changed the amount due to 2 payments. I did not have the money to pay 2 at that time and the online system would not let me make a partial payment so I intended to send it in and got too busy. If the fact that all of my other accounts are in good standing does not explain that away then I guess you shouldn't take a chance on me regardless of my previous flawless prosper account. |
