I've come to prosper.com to look for a loan to consolidate my existing credit card debt into a single loan in order to avoid high intrest charges that my cards carry. About 5 years ago while in college like many students I accmulated some debt. On top of this I also helped some loved ones out of a financial situation by allowing them to use my credit cards. Three years ago I made the decision to enroll into a CCS program and have since been making payments of 388.00 per month to pay off this debt. My debt is now down to roughly $6000, and I'd like to now consolidate all of my existing debt into a single loan and get out of CCS. There have been some instances while in CCS that they failed to send a payment out on time and this is where some of my 30 days my credit report shows comes from. I can show proof from the CCS company showing all payments made on time if requested. I currently married with no children, own my own home and have a great job that is very secure and stable.
