Purpose of loan: My wife and I have made a lot of progress paying down our debt over the past few years, and we are looking to make that final push! We currently have one credit card left to payoff, it has a balance of $6750 with and APR of 18.49%. About a year ago we borrowed money from a friend to help us replace our A/C unit, Water heater, and some appliances. We have paid her back about 1/3 of the amount borrowed, but it is getting more and more awkward when we see her and we don't want to damage that friendship. I have an excellent job as the managing director for a local investment firm and will have no problem making my monthly payments. I hate credit card companies and I am ready to be free and clear of their grip. I would much prefer to pay interest to the people of this site. I appreciate your consideration. My financial situation: I currently have a base salary of $40,000/year, and a bonus structure that pays me 10% of the company's monthy net revenues. Currently that amount an additional $1100/mnth. I am a homeowner with 0 late or past due payments, and I have 1 Credit card with 0 late or past due payments. My spouse also has a very good job. Our combined gross income for last year was $88,000. Our household income will exceed $100,000 for 2007. I do have another prosper loan, which is current with no late or missed payments. My monthly budget: Mortgage/rent: $1550 Insurance: $98 Car expenses: $323 Utilities: $210 Phone, cable, internet: $115 Food, entertainment: $500 Clothing, household expenses $200 Credit cards and other loan payments: $380 ($240 of this will be eliminated by this loan) Other expenses: $85 --------------------------------------- Total monthly expenses: $3461 |
