Purpose of loan: Hello everyone! I will use this loan specifically to pay off a credit card debt. I've had the card for about 5 years, it originally had a credit limit of $ 11,000 and as soon as I stopped using it as often and started to pay it down, they cut my credit limit down to what my balance was (about 6500 at the time). It's frustrating! So, needless to say, I'm looking for a much lower, more manageable interest rate. The interest on this card is just obsurd. My financial situation: My financial situation is improving. I've been operating my own business now for over a year. It's a home repair business. My Gross earnings monthly are on average $ 5,500.00. After taxes, which I pay quarterly, and all expenses I have $ 1000.00 of discretionary income at my disposal to pay on this loan and put into savings. I do not own a home, but I live with my fiance and we both share the mortgage and utility expenses. Her home is about 1800 sq feet, and was built in the late 90's. I have an IRA with <Schwab> with approximately $30,000.00. Monthly net income: $ $ 1,000.00 after all taxes and expenses Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 1,000.00 (includes my portion of tax and insurance!) Insurance: $ paid for in the above Car expenses: $ 175.00 / month including gas, insurance, and maintanance Utilities: $ (included in the housing) Phone, cable, internet: $ (included in the housing) Food, entertainment: $ 250.00/monthly Clothing, household expenses $ 200.00/monthly Credit cards and other loans: $ 300.00 Student Loan: $85.00 All other expenses Approximately (300.00) |
