I am on time with all my obligations and the only problem that I have at the moment is that my debt to income ratio is still high since I cannot also put down my husbands income on the application. Together we make about 80K and we're steadily paying down our high interest debt despite a few setbacks like a temporary loss of income a while back(Hence the high credit card debt).
At this time my husband just lost a loved one and needs to make a quick trip to his native Kenya and help with some of the funeral costs. Since we are unable to request a credit increase from our current creditors and feel uncomfortable asking friends or family for a short term loan at this time we chose to go with prosper and pay off the loan once he gets back.
