Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my high interest rate debt at beneficial. I'm currently paying $87 a week (> then minimum) and half of it's interest. That makes me sick. I need to get a better interest rate so I can pay it off faster and obviosuly save a couple thousand or more over the life of the loan. Once this is payed off. My credit score will be high enough for me to go to a bank and get a reasonable rated loan for any big purchases in the future. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am serious about getting out of debt and staying out of debt. I've been a loyal and dedicated employee for over 20 years at my place of work. My one and only full time job. I'm not going anywhere. I've been on time with all payments for several years now. My last resort is a 401k loan. But I heard about prosper and thought it was a great idea. Why pay these money hungry lenders when we can help each other out. My credit score is between 615 and 640. Not sure why I received a Grade D. I'm just below the cut off to get accepted at a major bank to consolidate. I'm reliable and will pay off my loan on time and in full.
