Purpose of loan: Hello! My name is James. I would first like to start off by giving a big thanks to Prosper and its Lenders. I was in a difficult situation last year and received a loan here with no problems. I hoped to have had my first Prosper loan paid off completely but I was unemployed over the summer due to school schedule conflicts, regardless though, I have not missed a single payment on that loan nor have been late in paying it as well. I now work for an excellent software company and I am up for a review. I am highly confident in my current situation as well as secure financially which is why I am back here. The purpose for the loan is to get either a nice older used vehicle or put the money down for a "newer" used vehicle. I just need something that is a tad bit more reliable than my current vehicle which is a 1991 Toyota 4-runner. It has been good to me through the 10 years that I have had it but I do not think it is going to make it to the spring season. Other Notes: I am in school pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Information Security. I plan of attaining that degree by December 2008. I have an Honorable Discharge from United States Air Force after actively serving 4 1/2 years. Anything else, just ask! My financial situation: I currently make just under $32,000. That is what I actually take home after taxes. As I have stated previously, I am up for a review and I am 99.9% confident I will get a raise but I do realize that has no relevance as of right now.
