Purpose of loan: I would use this loan to pay off payday loans. Unfortunately I am on the all too familiar cycle of loan-repay-reloan. It is my goal to be more fiscally stable in 2008 and this loan will be the first step. My financial situation: I have some negatives on my credit due to a bad divorce a few years ago, but have been trying to keep current since. I have had some financial setbacks this year (car repair, legal bills) that has contributed to my current situation. My poor credit is due in large part to a bad divorce a few years ago and some of the negatives will fall off my credit report next year. I have never missed my loan payment to Prosper and my car will be paid off in Feb. I will be receiving a substansial settlement within the first quarter of 2008.
