Purpose of loan: I was one of the 1st 25,000 loans with an E credit grade on Prosper. I have since paid that loan off and got a 2nd loan for more inventory to sell on Ebay. Although I could ask for more, I am only trying to borrow what I need. This should definately show the responsible financial lessons I have learned. This loan will be used to pay income taxes. I did not estimate correctly from my Ebay business income as well as some money my wife made working at our Church where they did not take out any Federal withholding. I have 4500.00 of the 8000.00 I need to pay. I would rather borrow the difference from Prosper, where I have an excellent borrowing status, than have to pay high fees and interest to the Government. This is the last BIG financial obligation I will have and then can start to chip away at the last few credit cards as well as pay off these Prosper loans and soon one of my cars. My financial situation: I have continued not to make any additional charges and am still working to be debt free. My son had brain surgery 2 years ago in March and some of those deliquencies have now shown up on my credit score.
