This is my second listing - I love prosper and as you can see have never been late on my current loan. I own and operate a successful and luckily consistent business. My problem is that in the early days of my business I extended out alot of credit to get going at some crazy interest rates. Moreso than the interest rates though is the confusion of sending payments at different times to different places every month in addition to running my business. In my credit profile there are two big problems - One is a vehicle they have listed as a charge-off: This vehicle was stolen and covered by GAP insurance, but because the insurance only recently settled the claim I have not been able to get them to remove the deliquency status yet. The other problem is my house: This was my mistake which I have made arrangement with the lender to catch up. What happened was that I always paid the bill online and they would only let me pay the amount posted. One month I was 10 days late paying it and they posted the amount as 2 payments which, at the time, I only had enough to pay one and they wouldn't let me pay a portion. I meant to call or send it in normal and just got too busy. I procrastinated because I had no convenient method of payment and when the next month came the same problem occurred until I finally sent in a partial payment and called to try to get arrangements to get the outstanding balance caught up. They will not let me do consistent autopay until everything is completely caught up, so that is part of the loan I am looking for here. So that is why I am back to this service. I want someone to look at my credit report and realize that I value paying my bills, most of them are on autopay so I don't have to worry about them, inlcuding my flawless prosper loan. I have been an accomplished salesman in a difficult industry for 13+ years and I also have 6 years of college that I attained while continuing to work. I run credit on customers every single day and I don't understand how I can have 32 statis accounts, 2 deliquent, 2 previous deliquent and banks don't understand I always pay my bills. I hope someone on here understands that, and until I can change it, you can benefit from the higher interest rate. That is my motivation to pay the money back quickly and reap a far greater reward in my own business growth. |
