Purpose of loan:
After moving in and remodeling we were hit by some unexpected expenses needed for hour repair. We had no choice but to use some credit cards and now we want to pay them off. My financial situation: We are currently using the snowball method, paying the lowest balances first, which financially is not the best option but it helps as it gives us a sense of accomplishments when we pay one card. We decided it's best to pay them all at once, with a prosper loan, and then just have a regular monthly payment which is automatically deducted from our account so there are no worries and no late fees or interest changes. This will allow us to pay our debt in three, or less, years. My monthly budget: Mortgage/rent: $980 Insurance: $192 Car expenses: $500 Utilities: $50 Phone, cable, internet: $150 Food, entertainment: $350 Clothing, household expenses $150 Credit cards and other loan payments: $0 Other expenses: $100 --------------------------------------- Total monthly expenses: $2472 |
