Purpose of Loan: I am applying for this loan to help me get back into school full time. My job has taken away our tuition reimbursement benefit and I cannot afford to pay tuition on my own. My financial situation: My credit problems started in my college years. I'll admit that back then I didn't realize how important good credit was, and was extremely irresponsible with my bills. While I have tried to, and have improved with my finances greatly since then having so many different bills, with so many different due dates causes me to get behind. Right now I have 4 delinquent accounts that I have to take care of and will do so with the money I receive from this loan if it is fully funded. Any money that is left over will go towards lowering my monthly car payment, and paying my insurance off for at least 6 months, and towards my student loans. With all of my smaller bills paid off, and a reduction in my car payment and other larger bills, I should have no problem making on time payments via ACH to repay the loan. Delinquencies: Right now I have 5 delinquent accounts on my credit report. These are all credit cards that I foolishly opened as band-aids or quick fixes in the past. While they did help for a time (only for extra cash) I've learned the hard way that adding high interest credit cards to my debt is not a way to fix my problem. I am currently paying the balance down on all of these cards and with the help of Prosper.com resolving these issues quickly.
